We need a big bat and middle infielder redundancy to make Clement super utility…..not another 20 million spent on a mid tier pitcher in his late 30’s. I like Bassitt but vibes are not enough of a reason to have him on the roster when there are gaps to fill. Bring together a good group of guys, a roster that makes sense and the vibes are likely to be cultivated.
He's very good
Love to see him remain a Blue Jay. But they already have a full slate of starters, and I’m not sure he’d want to stay in the bullpen. Although, based on last year‘s performance, the bullpen may be the best place for him. He was superb there. If he could maintain those playoff stats next year in the bullpen, I’d be happy for the Jays to pay him a starter's salary.
