Nothing really earth shattering here. Just happy that Keegs wasn't laid off with the other guys at MLB.com.

  1. Keagan is the best. His overdrive segments are always gold. Think anyone who employs him would befoolish to cut him loose

  2. I hope Jose bounces back this year. I also like that we have potentially 6 legitimate starters because pretending like there isn’t some questions around the different members of the rotation would be a mistake. Will Bieber be 100% to open the year? Will Berrios? Will Trey take a step back after the league has had an offseason to watch footage of him? How will Ponce look on a North American mound against a deeper talent pool? With all the injuries happening to pitchers early in teh season, I wouldn’t hesitate to run a 6-man rotation through the end of April.

  3. Mostly just pitching concerns (what do they do with Berrios?)
Toronto is in better shape than a year ago – and compared to the rest of the AL East, doesn’t have too many serious issues.

    Other AL East teams:
Boston – needs an INF with offense, possibly may trade more of their pitching depth, which they are overflowing with.
Yankees – bullpen question marks, Jasson Dominguez and Spencer Jones having no spots to make the MLB roster, and will “running it back” with the offense succeed or will it badly backfire?
Orioles – Did they do enough to upgrade the pitching? Offense should be stronger with additions of Alonso, Ward and Blaze Alexander, and emergences of Basallo and Beavers – but will they have enough arms to avoid a lot of 8-7 games, especially with closer Felix Bautista out for the year.
Rays – WHO’S PLAYING THE OF? Only locks are Caminero, Aranda and Diaz – the rest of the lineup is anybody’s guess, notably the outfield and 2B, which will be heavy on platoons. Bullpen also has questions too.

  4. The questions (according to Keegs):

    Berrios?
    Bieber?
    Vladdy?
    Ricky?
    Varsho?

    The answers (according to me):

    Hell yeah fuck yeah
