The longer this continues, the more likely it is that Andrew McCutchen will be back. That’s not a bad thing, mind you, unless he goes over a cliff in what surely ought to be his final season. It’s clear that the team would prefer to upgrade from him, but it does not appear that this is going to happen.

Do they really honestly think that after 30 plus years of burning bridges, like every bridge in Pittsburgh, that any really player wants to play here. Seriously they treated players like garbage, treated the fans worse, not that that matters to players. They are a joke of an organization and I can imagine the front office sitting at their desk scratching their balls in shock they lost all these players. Good Andujar is not a credible third basemen. Sure he can fake it for 200 innings but he hasn’t played a full season at the position since 2018, and he was horrific defensively.
