I get that this is a strong draft class and it would be great to be in the lottery, but you have to start winning some time, and it’s clearly having a positive impact on the team. Players don’t want to be out there tanking
Also being a winning, good vibes team makes it more likely to attract better free agents, hopefully to fill out the bench next year since it’s a weak group.
I told everyone we would be .500 and now we are 3 games back. I said we would have 9 wins in February and we won 1 of the games I thought we would lose. This might be the best team in the NBA. With Moose we can switch everyone on defense. Not every team can do that. Houston is one of the best rebounding teams in the NBA and we out rebounded them by 6.
