Not taking anything away from Whelan he was phenomenal last year but positional value wise he is not a top 5 player on the packers. He shouldn’t even be on the list. Christian Watson needs to be. I’d have Zach Tom and McKinney over Jacobs as well. Though part of the reason Jacobs wasn’t great this year is the line wasn’t good. Gutey needs to fix that, he tried following the Philly model and we go on to finish bottom 1/3 in run and pass blocking.

I know this sounds obvious and stupid to say. But we win a Superbowl if those top 5 stay healthy all season and we have at least a mid special teams.
Y’all be saying Whelan ain’t valuable then cry over our special teams losing games. How can you say the position isn’t valuable when it contributes a lot to field determining the opposing team’s field position setting up the defense for success and subsequently the offense on big stops. It’s the glue that binds the two sides of the ball
Our punter is worth every cent. We need a kicker to match.
If you weight this by positional significance, I easily move Tom up. If Lafleur is locked in for a new contract, I don’t see many more important players than the guys who keep giving Love time on the edge. O line has been atrocious when Tom’s out.
For that reason I really think a big key to next season is do we see Morgan crack this list. If he starts at LT and gets to just play one damn position all camp, who knows.
I feel like when we first got him Jacobs was our number 1 offensive piece but it feels like they cut his carries in half this year for some reason. When Malik took over for Jordan when he hurt his knee we ran the ball at like 80% of our offense and last year we seemed to want to just go out in gun and sling it.
Numbers 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 10 all missed time due to injury last season. 4 was on a pitch count all season. Damn.
Williams should be higher Watson sound make the list.
Wyatt is great but idk if he beats out the others here
I have watched some of the plays Enagbare has made and I hope that dude gets some love as well as mcduffie I know they aren’t top ten but man they have played well.
Mckinney is a 2 time all pro. He should be higher. Bullard so also be on this list. I don’t disagree whelan should be on this list but kind of wish our punter wasn’t one of our top 10 players
I’ll agree with this list and just hope that this season the majority are healthy for the playoffs and not injured or out for the season like this past year.
Whelan is the best player on our team. I will not be hearing counter arguments.

The vendiagram between this and season ending injures is pretty close to a circle…. (hyperbolic but still not too far from the truth)
Kraft is very good. But he’s not #3. Jacobs and McKinney are definitely above him IMO.
He’s not in the top 10, but I still want to give Watson his flowers, our offense is just different( in a very good way) when he’s on the field vs off.
