  1. Kyler isn't that great either injury injury on top of injury least Kirk is at least tougher than him so if I had 2 pick it would be Kirk least hes tougher than Kyler

  6. Yeah if Kirk would come in to challenge and teach JJ I think we will be all right. We should be more worried about the play calling and inability of our QB whispering genius of a coach to make adjustments and take what the defense and his players will give him. Keep up the deep crossing pass routes with receivers that either a) can’t get open. And b) lead the league in drops.

What is sad is after two weeks of our team getting more run than one of the teams in the Super Bowl and not very good press but smack down type press, it has created this disconnect from reality of what went on and it wasn’t just JJ that was the problem. Sam Darnold would be just like us today if he was one of us and he would be watch the superbowl on tv. He might be there but in the stands. Anyone that watched the playoffs and how good the teams were and how physically tough they were on the offensive side of the ball with run games made me realize that I hope our Coach has a good look in the mirror after he gets done throwing the GM under the bus this week. It’s sad and I am afraid he might be too arrogant to understand that he better win a playoff game this season even if he has to do it with Max Brosmer. Because I think the people that own the team fired the GM because they are getting sick of the blame game and were like here you go. Don’t fool ourselves for a second that JJ McCarthy is all the GM idea. Maybe he said are you sure this guy is the one you want KOC? That’s about it. If KOC would have been honest and not wait so late to actually get a good backup or potentially decent starter we would have maybe got to the playoffs. Only fools think KOC has his out and wash his hands of JJ now. Because if you think Kyler or Mac Jones is going to be the ones leading us to the promised land, maybe you should apply for an offensive coaching position with KOC.

  11. I would choose Kirk Cousins because I would rather have a 10-7 record with a QB who actually cares about the game. Then, I have a quarterback that plays Call of Duty and does not show up to practice.

  14. Not only is Kirk the Answer he is the ONLY ANSWER you don't want to give up picks for Mac AND NO ONE KNOWS KOC better than KIRK he can run system in his sleep Kirk is #1 choice

  15. I have been a Viking fan for 57 years. Kirk is the second best quarterback the franchise has ever had and it is not even close. I have watched every one of his snaps in Atlanta and Kirk is still playing at a very high level for a talented but dysfunctional team. Not including the 3 games that he played hurt in 2024 Cousins played well enough for the Falcons to be 14-3. They were 11-6 but in three games things beyond his control snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. With a functional team as talented as the Vikings there is no reason that we couldn't be Super Bowl favorites by week 7 next year.

  21. One takeaway, there is 0% chance that the Vikings would be inline to get two 3rd rd picks from their ex GM becoming the GM elsewhere! In addition to Kwesi & KOC handing the Seahawks a SB and possibly a dynasty if the Seahawks win the SB again next year, the Vikings lost draft capital by resigning Kwesi last offseason. If they looked at the horrible drafting, and highly questionable FA acquisitions the 3 previous years, the Vikings could have sent him packing and there may have been another team stupid enough to hire him. The same could be said for KOC, as he could have been traded for two 1st rd picks after his fraudulent HC of the year award, but since then his value has dropped dramatically. JJM could have been traded for a 1st rd picks to the Raiders after the 2024 season, but now the value of both JJM & KOC is a beer & a hotdog at halftime! In addition to all of these lost opportunities, the Vikings will have to give up valuable resources to fix the QB position, and to get under the cap!

  24. Kirk maybe as a cheap back up only. He tried to fleece us for as much cash as possible and has been totally self-serving. A total prick. No thanks. Plus, he never came close to getting it done when here. As a starter he would consign us to more purgatory. Hell no!

  27. I would rather have Derek Carr who would likely be willing to come out of retirement to play for the Vikings. Carr would be playing with more talent than he has ever had and would have more upside than Cousins at age 38.

  28. Anyone coming in, like Kirk, is going to get to compete for the job. Either that or they won't come. Sitting on the bench when you are better than the guy on the field is a terrible feeling.

  30. If I have to pick between Kirk Cousins and Kyler Murray it’s KC all the way.

    Kirk may be old and may be washed but Kyler Murray is an official Draft Bust!!!

    Murray is absolute trash!

  32. So if the Vikings after letting Cousins leave at the beginning of the "competitive rebuild," does Cousins coming back to the Vikings complete the "competitive rebuild?" Hilarious. Kwesi and O'Connell are jokes.
