This is a tough decision for me, yea they need a WR1 but like u say do they swing for the fences for JJ or find a cheaper one like Pierce or BTJ. Personally I say swing balls for Crosby and a few more pieces on the Defense. Use the draft to try hit a WR. Defense is always our downfall in the playoffs

I can see the bills trading some defensive players that dont fit Jim leonhards scheme for extra picks and using some of them for a for a wr1 haul while basicaly giving the draft completly to Leonhard for his defense for his scheme

A lotta talk about Beane's overall performance as Bills' GM, and the picks he's traded away are rarely discussed. The most prominent current players selected with Bills' are Mahomes and JJ. Mahomes is on McD, JJ is on Beane. Reasonable people can disagree, but I'd rather have Josh than Mahomes. Imagine if Beane had just drafted JJ. We'd have had a better receiver for a longer time, and a TON of cap space to play with. That one choice has us over the hump multiple times, I think.

Shaheed is who the bills need. He could be punt and kick returner plus stretch the field. And he could play outside the numbers. Best yet he gonna be cheaper and probably more impactful than a number 1. Unless the bills change their philosophy it’s a complete waste to have a number 1 receiver better off getting playmakers. Guys who can be impactful with limited touches. The draft has a few I wouldn’t mind either. But can’t pay Shakir to be a number 3 12 million dalton I believe would be 10 million. Cook 12 million. 10 million to Palmer then 30 + million to a number 1 for him to not get number 1 targets. Gonna create a diggs type situation all over again.
