Stephon Castle Breaks Down Historic 40-Point Triple-Double vs. Mavs | NBA on Prime

After the San Antonio Spurs dominated the Dallas Mavericks, Stephon Castle joined Nightcap to reflect on a career night in San Antonio.

Castle became just the second player in franchise history to record a 40-point triple-double, putting together the best performance of his young NBA career. He also talked about playing alongside Victor Wembanyama, the energy from the Jackal fan section, and what the night meant to him as the Spurs continue to build momentum.

  1. Damn, the Spurs are the most exciting team to watch (for me at least), and it's so refreshing not to know who's gonna have a great game every match. One day it's Wemby, another it's Castle, Fox, Champagnie, KJ, Vassel, Harper and the list goes on.

  2. I really believe he'll end up being the dominant offensive force on the club, Victor obvious has the highest ceiling but the NBA is truly a guards game, they both play both ways, this team is set for the next decade it's crazy.

  3. Castle has sneaky athleticism. He can get up on a dead run but anything else he has to gather himself. He still had some great dunks in this game so probably a bad time to note this. Regardless he has a super high basketball IQ and competitive fire. Shooting near or above 40% from three will seal the deal.
