The New-Look Chicago Bulls Are Better Than You Think! 💥🔥

Last night in Denver might’ve gone down as a loss in the box score, but make no mistake — this felt like the start of something for the Chicago Bulls. 🌬️🐂

On this episode of Chicago Bulls Breeze, host Philip Charles VanDerHeyden IV (@PhilipCharlesIV) — aka Philly The IV — breaks down his full thoughts following the Bulls’ spirited February 7th, 2026 showdown with the defending champs, the Denver Nuggets, a game that showed way more fight than fear.

Chicago went toe-to-toe in altitude against one of the NBA’s toughest environments, and while the final result didn’t swing our way, the process absolutely mattered. Energy. Pace. Physicality. Confidence. The Bulls didn’t fold — they pushed back.

Philly The IV dives deep into how the newly acquired Bulls from the trade deadline looked in their early minutes wearing red and black. How did they fit? Who popped immediately? Who flashed upside that could change this team’s trajectory moving forward? Most importantly — do these moves finally signal a real shift into a new era of Bulls basketball?

This episode is all about vibes, vision, and validation. Validation that the Bulls are no longer just surviving games — they’re competing. And vision for what this roster can become as chemistry builds and roles solidify.

If you’re a Bulls fan searching for optimism grounded in reality, honest evaluation, and unapologetic Chicago bias… you’re in the right place.

Tap in, join the conversation, and let’s talk about where this team is headed next. 🏀🔥

  2. Giddey has a plethora of weapons at his disposal can’t wait to see what a full healthy roster can do and that’s all it is just staying healthy and developing that chemistry now while new team and they look good playing together but it’s the same for the opposing team it’s a new team to them so now they gotta replan they whole strategy and that’s what I like this team isn’t one dimensional

  3. @chicagobullsbreeze I agree with your assessment 10,000%. There’s a lot to like with this team.

I also don’t believe that AK’s strategy with these trades is to tank. I think it’s the exact opposite. Part of the reason why he picked up all of these guards is so that they can put on an offensive show that plays up their trade value over the remainder of this season.

  4. I like these trades as we have got good pieces that we can still move easily if we need to we also have all our 1st round picks and 13 second round picks over the next few years. With our cap flexibility we should expect big moves this off season

  5. I still need to hear a rational reason why AK traded Ayo. He gives you everything you would want from a guard in addition to playing D. AK needs to provide clear answers for this
