Heck yeah, Pizza Palace
I still miss the original renderings of the LCA. A big concrete pizza guy is such a downgrade from the neon Wing it was sold to the tax payers with. Plus the area around the arena still bites. Nice place inside though.
We won’t return, and regularly would regularly attend games at the Joe. Way overpriced, seating is awful and the in-house dj thinks it’s about him and his eurotrash/trap that he is incessant with. What they charge for a hot and ready is criminal to a population that knows better.
Is it cleaner? Yes. No more piss smell from troughs? Yep. Players love the training facilities? Absolutely.
Soulless and completely corporate but somehow paid with those sweet ass “District Detroit” tax dollars? You bet your ass.
