I really hope he actually proves everyone wrong and gets the extension. He’s the best player that’s played for this team in forever when healthy and his last few years with the Lakers mostly were. Idk wtf happened with him in Dallas.

This is such a surreal moment.
Back in 2012 I was pulling for AD, Brad, or Drummond to be in a Wizard’s jersey. Years later we get AD well past the Wall days, but he still has the chance to play meaningful basketball next year w/ our pieces and young guys developing.
At his age, mileage, and injury history, he probably will be in and out of the lineup, but just having him around with Sarr, and us having 2 shot blocking bigs is going to be huge.
This was such a low risk, high reward move, that whatever AD gives us is going to be a plus.
How nice, the team is welcoming Anthony Davis to the injury list!
