  3. The overall record belies the fact that this team is actually really good and we have been the best team in the NBA since January, as the OP points out.  Pundits still seem to think we are a play-in or first round ceiling type team but the stats suggest we could make a playoff run.

    4/5 starters can consistently get 20 points, rebound and pass well. Off the bench weve got a solid rim protector with kalkbrenner, 3 tough defenders with grant, sion and green. And now added another scorer in coby white to help the bench.

    If youre selling hornets stock im buying all of it.

  4. The history makes it surprising, but there is pretty good pedigree here: we start a #2, #3, #4, and a #12 draft pick!

  5. They are great at rebounding, FT shooting, and don’t commit a lot of fouls. Now you add Coby White, who is a player who can draw fouls and get to the line. That will be huge during those stretches when the offense gets stale.

  6. The Hornets healthy could always score but it’s the defensive improvements that have them winning
