After a dunk, Johnny Furphy landed awkwardly and went down with an injury. He started holding his knee and the team is visually distraught.

Prayers for Johnny, just absolutely hate to see this happen.

  2. This really hurts to see. Heā€™s a fun kid to watch. Iā€™m not able to watch, so hopefully thereā€™s been some sort of update during the game

  12. Tried to stay upright rather than absorb the force and go to the ground, landed more flat footed so the shock went through the knee. Probably some tendon strain and bursitis, maybe a meniscus tear. Not terrible but a long recovery since thereā€™s very low blood flow to the knee. Doubt heā€™s back this season.

  15. Hopefully it will be more like Jaraceā€™s injury that looked catastrophically bad but turned out to just be a sprain. I still canā€™t believe Jaraceā€™s ankle wasnā€™t broken; the twist looked ghastly, but it wasnā€™t nearly as bad as it looked.

  23. This should be a wake up call to Rick about giving guys nights off and restricting minutes. An injury like this to Nemby, Nesmith, Siakam derails next season. Hopefully Furphy isn’t hurt too bad but I have a bad feeling he is looking at a long rehab. I pray I am wrong again like after Hali did the splits a few years ago and Nesmith was helped off the floor earlier this year.
