Agreed, Graf has proven himself and should be a part of the future with the obvious ones like Smith, Askarov, Dickinson, etc. This young core is going to ask for a lot of money but they deserve it. It’s better to invest in them than acquiring forwards that are reaching the end of their careers. Focus on acquiring defense. Reaves needs to leave quickly. Chernyshov doesn’t get to be on the team but Reaves does… It’s laughable what this team is doing playing Reaves every game. If Cagnoni gets called up and proves himself like Chernyshov did, and I think he can prove himself based on his Barracuda games, he could be a cornerstone as well. Chernyshov and Cagnoni should be playing with the Sharks right now to become cornerstones in the near future with the young Sharks core we have now.
i am not sure Eklund is franchise like the others especially if Misa and Cherny hits. Eky could be a trade piece for hopefully top 4 D imo.
