I would like to remind everyone that the Bulls have lost TWICE against the Nets this year. And that was when they were trying to win.
So long as they don’t play Yuki a ton of minutes, I think the Bulls can lose this one!

Also, the Bulls are 1-7 in their last 8 games. Idk what people want from the Bulls in terms of the tank right now.
“It’s too late to tank.” No, it’s not. First, there are other picks other than top 4. The Bulls have already moved up 3 spots in the tank standings and they are only 1.5 games from moving up again.
Secondly, it is not too late for a top 4 pick. The Bulls have increased their odds from 4.8% to 13.9% and if they land the #8 slot, which I think is still realistic, they would have better than a 1 in 4 chance. Plenty of teams have been jumping up the past few years with worse odds than that.
Personally, I think there’s huge value in getting into a top 9 pick and getting someone like Nate Ament. I like Dybantsa, but I don’t see him or Peterson as “absolutely stars” in the NBA. Good chance they are good at the next level, but neither of them seem like a LeBron or Wemby or even a Zion. This is Year 1 of the rebuild. They don’t have to get a mega star in Year 1.
They’ll have multiple drafts in the future to tank. I don’t care if it’s supposed to be a “weak” draft in 2027 and 2028. The 2023 draft was weak and Wemby, Amen Thompson, Keyonte George were available. The 2024 draft was weak and the Spurs got Castle with the #4 pick. There are always good players available in “weak” drafts.

I think it’s a fun time to watch the games tbh. It’s interesting seeing players develop chemistry who haven’t played together yet. Maybe I just like shipping people tho…
