I’m a bartender in a big tourist town (not in Ohio anymore) and we’ve had tip jars out all week with Patriots or Seahawks – but I made a third jar that just for when I’m working that says “Counting Down Til Baseball Season”. I’ve done this a few years now and it always gets laughs. Got several comments on Saturday afternoon agreeing with the sentiment. I always joke that I only care about the Super Bowl because once the game ends, it’s officially Baseball Season.
My husband and I were saying after the game last night that the MLB could do the funniest thing and put an ad that airs *after* the game ends that promotes Baseball Season being just around the corner.
