  1. Hope Mr. Pearce gets the help he needs and gets his life together. The consequences of these poor decisions are likely to severely impact his playing career, or even curtail it completely. As disappointing as this is to Falcon fans and the Falcon team/staff, it’s more important he address his personal demons. Otherwise, he’s going to have a very rocky road ahead of him. Thankfully, it appears neither Ms Jackson nor any of the police officers were injured. As bad as this is, it could have been so much worse.

  2. As someone that’s been involved in law enforcement for 30 years. I caution people to reserve judgement. Jackson did not file a Restraining Order against Pierce so it’s her word against his. She can say whatever she wants but if she felt he was stalking her and was in fear she should have filed a restraining order. This is he said she said . He didn’t physically assault her . So in my opinion this case is not going anywhere. Had he physically assaulted her it would be different. He said she said . She said he did something he can say he didn’t..

  3. If all the charges stick the amount of time served depends on if his charges are served concurrently or consecutively. For those amount of charges the amount of time served can be drastically different.

  4. I don’t wanna be negative. But remember Vick. He went to prison. We were without a QB for a year I believe. We got Matt Ryan. Hate Ryan all you want but he did bring us good things. Not saying this may happen but what if history repeats itself. Ryan became the best QB in falcons history. We get a pass rusher that then becomes the best pass rusher in falcons history

  5. Due to the timing of this, I believe there’s more to this story than what will be reported on. He’s being initiated or shown that he needs to comply or else his career will be in jeopardy.

  6. My guess is he just ends up with a 6-10 game suspension on top of whatever time he may miss while in jail or prison. And that might not even kick in until the 2027 season because this whole thing could take over a year. The NFL usually waits until all the legal stuff is dealt with before they levy a punishment on the players. He'd probably have to get a multi-year prison sentence to end his career. I'm not saying that's what should happen. That's just my prediction of what will probably happen. I mean look at Jalen Carter. He illegally raced his car on public roads in a race that killed 3 people. If Carter doesn't race that day all 3 of those people would still be alive. So Pearce could've killed somebody while Carter's illegal actions did kill several people. Then, almost immediately after those deaths, Carter was still drafted as a top 10 pick. What did he end up getting? 1 or 2 game suspension maybe? If the NFL thinks 3 people losing their lives is only worth a game or 2 what's it worth when nobody loses their life? I think Pearce will still get a bigger suspension but I doubt it ends his entire NFL career. The big question is what will Arthur Blank do? Will he keep him on the team and take all the backlash he will get for doing that? Or will he release him like he did with Michael Vick just to watch him get picked up for free by another team like the Eagles and then go on to have a great career there like Vick did? So to me the 2 biggest questions are how much jail time he will get and how the Falcons as a team will react. I doubt the NFL suspends him for anything longer than 1 season. 1 thing the NFL might do though is void all the guarantees in his contract. As a 1st round pick his entire contract is guaranteed. So if the Falcons can get out of those guarantees it could make them more inclined to release him so they can save that money. This is definitely one of the dumbest and downright craziest things I've ever seen an active NFL player ever do though. Aaron Hernandez and Chris Henry might be the only 2 I've seen do crazier. Jalen Carter and Henry Ruggs were worse because they killed people but more than anything I thought they were just being stupid and irresponsible and that their wrecks were definitely accidental. What Aaron Hernandez, Chris Henry and now James Pearce did clearly looks intentional. I can only imagine a downright crazy person intentionally doing what Pearce did.

  7. Bro nobody story matches. It’s bullcrap. On one hand the Miami police department telling their local news Pierce and Jackson both came to the precinct to argue their points when Pierce ran out and hopped in her Lambo and took off then ATL news talking about the police say they were called and intercepted the incident as it unfolded. This case bullcrap with 35 different timelines already.

  8. Bad news he did this in FL good news its n Miami Dade county. If these allegations are true he should do 8-10 years in prison these actions are unacceptable and any average joe in society would go to prison. He should never play in the NFL again.
What will probably happen is he will get a sweetheart deal pleading, to only misdemeanors, get 1 year of probation and the NFL will give him a 10 game suspension.
NFL loves to virtue signal but when the rubber hits the road, getting butts in seats and making money sweeps accountability under the rug.

  9. Crazy how so many people seem to be so devastated for a fucking criminal. Who knows what else he was able to get away with by virtue of being a gifted athlete. At this point, lets have NFL games played inside prisons.

  10. Here we are thinking we won the draft selection of JPJ in the first round and missing out on not having a first round draft pick this coming draft…..now after the season is over, we may be screwed 😢
