He was such a Brewer, can’t really put it better than that. I hope the front office knows what they’re doing
NO ONE will love the sausage race as much as he did.
and durbin scored that run…
I’ll always love my Monster
Mona is the best
Farewell, Mr 374. You will be missed o7
No Mona breaks my heart. such a nice guy and a clutch player.
They really kept Joey O over Durbin and Mona…
Someone please explain this trade to me because I don’t understand how the Brewers got better today?
Maybe Durbin wasn’t going to be an allstar, but at least you had a hard working solid contributor that you could pencil in the lineup every night. Do they not have enough potential starters that need reclamation to fill out their roster? What is the point of signing Woodruff and spending all that money if they still can’t score runs? Trade him in July for minor leaguer that may or may not be good in 3 years? As a 50 year Brewer fan I will have to abandon the idea that they will ever go “all-in” one season and try and win a world series.
Red Sox fans won’t appreciate him.
Mona was such a team player! Couldn’t ask for a better utility guy to bring that energy off the bench
IIRC he had very few at bats in the weeks leading up to that walk off vs the cards, but he showed up when we needed him!
Red Sox fan, I think Kyle Harrison has a lot of potential and you guys will give him the Quinn Priester treatment. I don’t know why we didn’t pitch Kyle instead of Jordan Hicks
Harrison was the top LHP prospect in all of baseball in 2024.
He was a top 25 overall prospect.
When he was even younger in San Francisco it was a lock that he was going to be a #2 in their rotation long term, at the bare minimum.
Obviously there are no sure things in baseball, but the kid is 24 and he’s in the pitching lab now. Burnes wasn’t a full time starter until age 25, Woodruff wasn’t until age 26.
feels like we got fleeced, getting worse on bats is not something we needed
but they know better than I do
guess they believe the guys coming from minors will have the strength to make up for it
Could sit cold on the bench for weeks, then get up and drive in some ninth inning runs in a pinch.
Oh yeah, and play ALL the positions.
Hard to part with that kind of package, but I will go ahead and trust… 😬
For my group he was known as “The Count of Monesterio”
Hahahahaha!!!!!
He was the magical mystery man. I will miss him terribly
