  1. I got news for you! The trade was JT Miller, for Chytil, who most likely will never play another shift in the NHL due to concussions, and Mancini, who is not even an NHL regular…YOU MAKE THAT TRADE ANY DAY OF THE DAMN WEEK!!!! The Rangers were going downhill WAY before JT Miller was traded for, I mean WHAT!!!!????

  2. If you think Miller coming to NY is what took down this team, you haven't really been paying attention to the Rangers. That core has been garbage since the end of 2023, we're only seeing it manifest now that Igor isn't here to hide it.

  3. This is the definition of exaggerated.

The first trade i would think of is Forsberg for erat, carter for jagr, mcdongah for gomez….

The sabatoging of borh teams? The rangers aquired miller after losing like half their top half of their roster. Vancover sold off so both teams sold off regardless of their trade beyween them. Chytyl and Mancini is not even equivlent to a 1st. If chytyl was healthy that trade prob would not be happening…

At this point 8mil for a 2nd line guy is not bad. 6mil is a bargain. Not in today's nhl.

    Bad reportiing.

A bad trade this year would be kulak and skinner for jarry.

  4. Yes, both teams stink and I get it. Miller is very hateable but in 78 games since the trade, he has 73 points and has been playing incredibly hurt the entire year. Jeff is a dweeb with horrible tattoos, and an equally horrible hairline.

  5. I guess you forgot Rick Middleton for a way past prime Ken Hodge. Middleton went on to play for 12 years..averaged over a point per game and his jersey was retired by the Bruins… 402 goals

Hodge only played 96 games for the Rangers and scored just 68 points..

  6. Oh boy, this comment section. Guys, Vancouver was good until Tocchet walked, which was the season prior to Miller’s trade. The Rangers were also good. These were playoff teams. Miller was traded because of his bullying of Pettersson. The Rangers side of thing isn’t Miller’s fault and more so Chris Drury is dumb because Drury took on a cancer like Miller and made him captain.

  7. Weird way to look at it. The Canucks imploded spectacularly due to poor leadership in the locker room.

I don't know what went wrong with the rangers. But the JT miller trade only exposed how weak the rangers and Canucks were. It didnt cause their downfall cause they were already trash.

  8. To be honest there are way worse trades in nhl history…..but…getting rid of mr NY Rangers himself, Kreider…and bringing in a known toxic player into the locker room instead….AND making him team Captain at that, sucked the heart and soul out of the team, even if they played bad before that.
Just a couple of years ago the Rangers were a strong contender with a good future foundation that was fun and exciting to watch….now there is…nothing….
    F Drury!

And Miller too, although he had nothing really to do with the situation or him becoming Captain…but he could of said no…and i've never liked him either as a player or an individual.
F Drury most…then a little bit JT Miller just for being such a 💩

  9. Adam Oates traded by Detroit to St. Louis, for Tony McKegney & the fossil remains of Bernie Federko. Worst trade ever Jeff. Do a little research… 😴😴

  10. Miller isn’t even in the same hemisphere as some of the stars traded in the worst deals in history. I’ll mention just one…Boston traded Ken Dryden to Montreal for two players who never got to play even one game in the NHL. In 8 NHL seasons Dryden won 6 Stanley Cups, Vezena award 5 times, Con Smyth, and the Calder for rookie of the year. He was selected in top 100 players of all time and is in the HOF. Now, how’s that for a bad trade? Miller who?
