  9. I remember how disappointed I was when he was drafted, because we needed DT help for a few seasons already, and we had Beason, already. Ive never been so glad I was wrong in my life. Kuechly will go down as the greatest panther of all time. No one deserved it more. True pro

  17. When you have a "young" team in the NFL, and then you get a teammate that launches things to a level no one expects, well.. you get Luke. I'll say, Luke needed TD and his defensive teammates every single season, but I'd also say he and Cam are both probably wondering if they can still play one more season to set records.

  19. Congrats I always like Luke he was the best he was one person that was monster on the field loved all the hits and the interceptions that he made specially against the cowboys lol. By the way I do have his jersey i haven’t worn it since he retired im going to have to frame it and will always remember him of one the legends of this team. Can’t wait for your speech there in canton Ohio Luke and i will be saying luuuuke!like we did when you played the game.lol😂

  20. As a Saints fan, I love the fact that Luke and Drew are in the same class for the Hall. Some of my favorite moments as a football fan were them going at it. One of my favorite non-Saints players ever.

I never got the chance to play football in my life but as a father of a 3 year old son I can't wait to introduce my son to your greatness and hopefully impact him the way you did all of us. thank you for the timeless memories and instilling the Keep Pounding mantra into our stadium and our lives, you are the staple and set a standard that we strive for and even if we never see it again in a panthers uniform Im grateful that I got to witness it for myself thank you again Luke and congratulations on an amazing career. 💙

  30. Cam and Luke were my favorite players because they were drafted right when I started liking football after not liking it growing up. So happy for him and his is well deserved

Rivera's staff had to pull Luke out of practice if they were installing a new package or a new formation because he was so disruptive and knew everybody's tendencies so well that he would just blow the play up before the offense could get a solid rep in. Players like this only come around a few times every generation, and we were lucky to get to watch him in Carolina.
