First, sigh of relief that he won’t be playing vs. Spurs on our 2nd night of back-to-back as we all know he torched us back in November.

Additionally, any chance we are rewarded with another All-Star being the 2nd seed? Thunder, Lakers, Nuggets and Rockets all have two spots each. The recent Castle resurgence might give him that opportunity.

  1. Does Harden count as Western Conference or Eastern conference now?

I also think Booker and Chet probably have better shots.

Edit: Whoops Im completely wrong Chet and Booker both were already in original teams.

  2. Since Chet made the All-Star team with stats of 17.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists, it’s clear they took his defense into account. By that logic, Castle—averaging 17 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 7.1 assists—should also be considered All-Star worthy.

  3. We haven’t had two all-stars since Kawhi and LMA 10 years ago. NBA’s own rankings have us as the #2 team just like we were back then.

  4. The competition isn’t as strong as I expected before I looked. If you care about team success, he or Fox have as good of a case as anyone

  5. Might as well, he’s going to be there anyway. And the Spurs should have two players in there anyway.
