  1. I’m not too worried 3/4 best defenders are out

Mal is compromised and jokic is still being careful not posting up as much

But rotations and plays in 4th become just Jamal and jok and it kills the game to only rely on two of them

  2. it is what it is, this is not denver basketball at all, i just want the all star break and come back with fresh legs and play like we have always played with jokic being the best player in the world in this second stretch of the season

  3. I rarely also see Jokic get any foul baiting calls in the clutch. Like dude, why do you play ethically the entire game and then decide to chuck up some bullshit in the clutch when you know they ain’t gonna call it for you? Lmfao

  4. Cavs fans in here bitching about the officiating after winning on FTs generated by Mitchell running into Murray after getting away with a blatant travel and missed defensive 3 seconds (that was 8 seconds long) at the end of the game is rich.

  5. What happened to the Adelman that said “the best players will close no matter who it is that night”

  6. Im genuinely asking, what does Bruce brown do?

We’ll be fine though. But getting a little sick of the brutal clutch stretches

  7. I’m one of the last to doom. There was a lot to like from us in this game.

But every season has a game that really defines it and I fear this game will be that. Victory slipping through our finger tips. I hope our locker room is strong. This is the type of loss that can stir some shit up.

Maybe we need another Jokic group text.

Love you Bruce, but dang man. How much longer can I defend you buddy…

If it isn’t injuries, one person back, one person out… It’s one person who progresses and another regresses. This roller coaster sucks. I need an (all-star) break.

It just feels like we have so many excuses and no problem using them. 😭😭😭 Someone hug me 😭😭😭

  8. That was a good game, everyone hustled hard. You can’t be mad when the Nuggs lose to a good team by a bucket. I can though. Watch how mad I can be. Inconsolable tbh. Quit trying to cheer me up cat.

  9. Unironically the most clutch this team has been is the game where all 5 starters weren’t playing.

  10. I wish we ran a real offense in the clutch instead of spamming Jokic Murray PNR and hoping for the best.

  11. This one’s on Malone is in my predictive keyboard still so that’s my take. I let the keyboard do the thinking. Other than that, Julian was awesome and CB too.

  12. A bit of a choke – that was a “should have won” – maybe post all star break will be better

  13. Headline correction: Nuggets once again fail to learn the lesson that a 10 point lead with 10 minutes to go is not a safe lead, they went into bullshit coast mode, and its cost them another game.

  14. Bottom line is DA can’t make in game adjustments. He chose to spam Jokic Murray pnrs when all game they weren’t really scoring and actually were distributing the ball beautifully. Murray is obviously hobbled from whatever with his hip. Jokic is still not there yet. What’s funny though is DA was given a gift tonight with Strawther having a career night yet chose to not play him for the rest of the game with 6:00 remaining in the fourth. David is stubborn just like Malone

  15. This season just fucking sucks, and not just for the Nuggets, but for the entire league. All the corruption, gambling, injuries, poor scheduling, foul baiting, flopping, refball, streaming apps – I’m just done. Games aren’t fun to watch anymore and I’ll always question whether shit is somehow rigged.

  16. ![gif](giphy|pUeXcg80cO8I8)

Yes the Injuries happened, but if DA and friends dont figure out how to close its gonna be a rough playoffs
we lose from giving up and not taking the game seriously, not a lack of talent or players.

DA is still learning as a coach, yes hes doing a decent job in some areas, but is failing in others, this will simply get better with experience over time so that will fix itself

And no desire to put teams away, and no desire to drive to the rim (could be fear of injury)

85% of our losses with a lead is running clock and turnovers, bricking 3-5 attempts at contested 3’s and full collapse.

BB over keeping Russ was the singular terrible part of the roster change

  17. I wish Jokic would attempt at minimum 20 FGA every game, we honestly do not need his passive passing considering the steps Murray has taken as a playmaker.

  18. I was abused for saying Adelman was at fault for the clutch at the start of the year but it is nice to see that people can see it now. His lineups are horrible and he just cannot coach defense.

  19. The decision to not play Strawther in the last 6 minutes of the game was something a coach purposely tanking would do. Especially when your team is riddled with injuries do not sit the hot hand taking the load off of injured stars. David has the greenest fucking light to let third stringers and shit play out games when they’re hot. All that trust David built with picket, Zeke, Julian in that Jokic-less month was all for nothing apparently

  20. DA has made some mistakes, but going up big and then coasting after is what this team been doing for the past 3 seasons now. That infamous Spurs game potentially fucked us from being back to back champs. You would think they would have learned their lesson, but they didn’t. Jokic is the leader and he does it, so the team does it.

  21. Even when we had a full squad, the vibes were not the best, they were losing games in the clutch to bad teams like Golden State, Chicago, Sacramento, Portland

  22. lakers lost too so im feeling a little better and will choose to be positive in this thread:

    – CB going 4/8 from 3 and also finding gaps to score at the basket is exactly what i love to see from him. the attempts are equally as important as the makes. i will always believe in cb and his intangibles/work ethic

    – strawther proving to be a real guy will be huge for us come playoff time to have more options especially if bruce proves to be unplayable. strawthers defense has been surprisingly solid lately as well

when/if we’re all healthy we’ll have the starters + tim, pwat, val, spencer, bruce, strawther and MAYBE pickett as options. way more than we had last season and that gives me optimism. if we can hit on a backup 4 in the buyout market then that’s even better. be patient guys, i have a feeling post all star break we’ll go on a much needed run

  23. Did not watch the game. How do you not play holmes and watson when you dont have a true PF available?

  24. it was a shitty loss, yeah, but this pgt looks like a bunch of goth kids writing poems about their hatred and suffering.

  25. You can’t convince me that we don’t win more games with our no starters line up as of late. The effort on defense is abysmal, especially at home.

  26. Adelman continues to have Jamal Murray our best clutch shooter inbound the fuckingggggggg ball when there is a second on the clock. This is the stupidest incomprehensible thing I have ever seen over and over and over again

  27. Why can’t this team beat the Cleveland cavaliers? It’s so weird. Even in a game that they should have won. Same with the Knicks.
