  1. Trayce had a nice game – but he still looks like he needs more time. Look, yesterday vs. the sizeless Pacers did he grab 10, sure did! But he looks timid and unsure. Will he bang vs Det? Cleveland's two trees? Embiid? Or even KAT? Will see, but I don't think so! This team needs a guy to step in now, they needed a vet like Portis. Trayce is a nice piece to work on, worth his trade value but grab me a few vs. a team like Minny, and then do it again … now you got my attention. How come the Raps aren't giving Sarr a bigger look?

  2. 6-7 as Detroit doesn’t have big Cs. I would actually start him because Sandro plays better off bench and helps shooting with bench guys. I would not mind playing some Mogbo on Isaiah Stewart and let Sandro play 4 with bench and SB as SF. Gradey and Ja’Kobe mix and match this keeps 1 of BI or SB on court all 48 mins

  3. I said in the comment section a few days ago the fans would be happy with this guy like they were after the initial disappoint just after the draft with CMB. However I did not expect him to be that good out of the gate. It clearly could be an over performance but it is great to see an over performance rather than an under performance out of the gate.

  4. Kudos out there for Darko. having the players out there enjoying winning and not making too many coaching errors. Get rid of that dam shooting machine trying to adjust everyones shots.

  5. I think a lot of Raptors fans are forgetting that we're still technically in a rebuild and we're EXCEEDING any and all expectations. TJD Needs to develop and under our development staff HE WILL. Any brilliance he shows us like the Pacers game is just the cherry on top. He's got one job, get rebounds off the bench. That's his ONLY job. IF he can score 10+ that's an added bonus but right now all I want is for him to get boards as he develops.

  6. 6.5 as a lob threat and mobile big. Curious to see how he fit with this .5 basketball mentally. If TDJ can set screens half as good as Jak wow: 8.0. It's a dimension raps missing since Jak's wack back lost track and got on crack.

CMB must be breathing sigh of relief. Not only get back to natural position but Rook taking a beating in the paint. I don't mind spot mins at small ball 5 but wanna see rest of his game develop

  7. I hope to see Darko give Trayce a fair chance with quality minutes and lets see what we have. I would not rush CMB or Poeltl. As you said, let them rest and recover and come back after the All Star break. The Pistons are going to be a hard team to beat for the Raptors but it will be great to see how Trayce handles himself against their bigs. Cheers Ben!

  8. TJD gives us a dirty work big and we havent had that for a while so thats really nice, still think Alijah Martin is really solid and should get minutes but dont fix what isnt broken, Ingram shouldve made the all star game too

  9. Have a feeling raptors going to revamp this summer I'm a fan of perdle when healthy he anchors that defense great passing big but he can't stay on court so is keeping us back cant see him in long run 😢

  10. I give TJD an 8. I don't think that his first game was luck. I think it was smart, patient, hard play. His game didn't look forced or rushed. It looked natural. His vibe was good too. I think he is going to "fit like a glove". GO RAPS!

  11. I give him 8/10 ability to hold down front court. Very excited to have him on the team and looking forward to see what this group looks like

  12. @benrogers nba news says board of governors are going to expand the league by 2 teams so it means possibly 2 raptors players will be taken by expansion teams. it may be why raptors trying to move some players like RJ. they cant protect them all. can only protect 8 players.

  13. this guy will get better and better as he will get more minutes with raps. also he will learn a lot from scottie, jac, fellow lefty rj, bi, and darko. i think he will be huge for the raps
