GOAT
His consistency is ridiculous, all three phases baby! Best Monday in ages!!
AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE! Oi Oi Oi!
Had a great game too!!! Big part of the win was the special teams
Best Punter in the league.
these guys busted their asses and became the best in the world. glad to see them soaking it all in.
I’ve learned so much about the art of punting because of this guy. I used to think it was just “kick it hard” lol.
He’s the best punter in the NFL. An absolute weapon for the Seahawks. That’s a hill I will die on.
BIGGUS DICKUS!!!
In this interview with mcafee post SB, Dickson said he’s always learning new techniques and will use them if the situation presents itself.
Barring injury he’s hoping to play for another 9ish years.
He was lights out, one of his best performances maybe ever.
All pro + an all time sb punting performance. Not a bad season
Way to go Dicko!
Congratulations Mikey!
I am gonna buy his jersey. The way he punts single handedly brought me a new appreciation for how important special teams are in football. Between him, Myers, Shaheed, and the rest, we have far and away the best special teams unit in the league, and it is a very big reason why we made it this far.
Needs more upvotes! Get in here, everybody!!!!
We love you too! Congrats!
So stoked for him! But was he just heading out to hit the slopes when they asked him to do the shoot, or had just been out skiing before it?
Punt GOAT
Not talked about enough. Such a weapon.
Not to mention, he’s a very good holder for Myers. At least one snap was a couple of feet off.
AND he made a solo stop on a return in the SB.
Best punter ever. It’s hard to quantify how much he has supported this season and Super Bowl win, but I’d say it’s significant.
Best punter to do it!
MVP!!! Most valuable punter in the league bar none. Why it’s so crucial to be great in all three phases.
If your kicker hasn’t kicked twice in the same play, what are we even talking about
Another super likable Seahawk, damn
Worth every penny, Myers too.
The boy was on point
Big Dickson energy
GOAT punter right there.
He’s slept on because punts aren’t typically exciting plays (at least for the punting team), but he is such an underrated weapon for us. Best punter in the league.
Future Ring of Honor member. Living legend status
AUSTRALIA’S TEAM
This is a personal dream come true. I’m an old, Chuck Knox 12. I got hooked during their first playoff run in ’83. The next year, the Hawks won their first playoff game against the hated Raiders. Then they moved onto Miami, who they had beaten the year before. They were slaughtered, 31-10. The Hawks had a reputation of having great special teams (under coach Rusty Tillman). But that game in Miami showed us up. They almost blocked a punt after a bad snap, but [Reggie Roby](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reggie_Roby) was able to get it off with three Seahawks in his face. Plus it was downed inside the twenty for extra salt. I was amazed at how athletic the guy was, his knee never bent.
Ever since then, I’ve always felt a championship team can’t stint on their kicking game, especially the punter. We had Jon Ryan lead us to two Super Bowls, now we have Michael Dickson. GOAT.
You know I think it would be cool as hell to get a Dickson jersey
I remember when we drafted him i was lowk hyped because texas guys were hyping him up as the dude who won MVP in a bowl game
In 2018 expectations were low so when I watched the games honestly i was expecting us to mostly struggle and watching the hawks would be miserable but this dude legit gave me a reason to stay up watching a punt because of how good he is at pinning down returners
Easiest new jersey decision ever and I only owned 2(his the latest)
My only regret was I did not wait until the throwbacks were released
Hall of Fame punter im serious
How lucky are we to have a top tier punter and kicker. Maybe even the best at their positions. Do you remember how stressful the Blair Walsh / Seabass days were??
How do you handle a Dickson punt? You fair catch that in the wind? You fake fair catch and let the coverage team down inside the 5? You chance it and catch it on the run? His true weapon is in the dilemma he presents to the returner, and most of the time, they fail to be decisive and turn it over.
