This is very misleading and not a good representation of success. If an expansion team won the championship in its first year, they’d have a win percentage of 1.000. Would that make them the most successful team in the Super Bowl era? Of course not. You can’t even say, in the Giants or RedCommies case for example, that it shows the potential for success. Past performance is not representative of future success. This should be redone in a “Games Behind” setup, like baseball standings.

Win percentage can’t go down that fast if you don’t make the playoffs that often.
