I don’t see ‘grit’ on this list so it is meaningless
Sal’s is pretty similar to this do you think he’s atrocious?
Sorry to inform you, but I enjoyed cheering for him and his grit so clearly I know more than the two-time reigning MLB Executive of the Year.
Before anyone makes the inevitable comparison to Turang, Turang hit the big leagues at a lot younger age with much more of a prospect pedigree.
Also, as an aside, Savant seems to not think much of his defense at third.
I have yet to assess the trade in terms of baseball value, but I love Durbin and Mona so I will be upset for the immediate future
That MGMT album rules!
95% squared up with 4% hard hit is funny
Dog: 99
Summary: he walks a lot due to good plate discipline.
I don’t think that’s a revelation to anyone who watched our games consistently. I just always wished he was a little faster. Going to miss him regardless
but i love that he looks kinda like steve from minecraft

Red Sox got fleeced
Just to add to this he got hit by pitch 24 times and went 5 for 11 while bunting which both don’t seem sustainable. I think he is really going to struggle to recreate his 2025 OBP.
I still worry about Frelick who has much the same batted ball profile only with more walks and is a much better fielder and is faster so he has more to work with outside of the basic batting profile. Add in Perkins having much the same profile and I kind of see why they were willing to move on from Durbin. We have too many of this type of bat in our lineup right now. I do wish we had a more firm plan at 3B though.
