JD Davison or a buyout signing? Rockets have a decision to make soon

Honestly feel like we should have considered dumping Tate or Uncle Jeff using a minimal asset (second round swap or something) so we could do both. Thankfully we have a little bit of time to see how the buyout market shapes out, right now there’s not a lot beyond maybe CP3, and it’s a big question if he at that age can actually contribute more than Davison.
We should be giving Davison some real minutes the next couple games IMO so the decision is easier to make. If he performs keep him.
Buyout signing
I’d like to keep him only thing on my nerves is we could of traded Tate for 2 second rounders now I doubt we get anything for him come offseason
Buyout candidate? Who? There isn’t any good option.
If we opt for JD over a buyout PG then we are not a serious team this year.
Dump uncle Jeff
Buyout signing for sure. I like JD but don’t think he’s ready to contribute in the playoffs. He hasn’t played enough meaningful minutes (besides OKC).
If it’s Cole Anthony, I’d consider.
I think Lonzo would be a wash, might as well give JD the chance.
CP3, pass. I’ll keep JD.
With FVV and Adams out for the year, do we get an injury hardship extra player? Know there’s apron concerns, but if so maybe sign a buyout candidate and convert JD for the playoffs?
