ESPN’s Courtney Cronin on the Bears Offseason:
“This is one of the quieter offseasons for the Bears in recent history. They don’t have to make franchise-altering moves ahead of next season. The Bears have the right coach-quarterback pairing with Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams. They established a winning culture that they can build off next season. There’s work to be done on the roster, notably with the pass rush, in free agency and the draft, but this is setting up to be a drama-free offseason.”

ESPN’s 2026 Power Rankings
#1: Seattle Seahawks
#2: New England Patriots
#3: Los Angeles Rams
#4: Denver Broncos
#5: Buffalo Bills
#6: San Francisco 49ers
#7: Detroit Lions
#8: Philadelphia Eagles
#9: Jacksonville Jaguars
#10: Green Bay Packers
#11: Chicago Bears

  1. Packers went all in for 2025. They traded away their draft picks and back loaded bunch of money. All that to sneak into the playoffs and go 1 and done. It's downhill from here until they do a rebuild. How are they ranked above the bears?

  2. They wnt sustain winning coming from behind! They need to learn how 2 win 1st and not just be 4th quarter darlings…tjat chit works 4 1 season not every year..Bears top 15 4 champ next year..

  3. Looks like it's going to be another year of all these media outlets being wrong all season long, just like they were this year. I love it. I'll enjoy them looking like asses once again!

  4. I think everyone is overvaluing the Seahawks. Congratulations to their yr but are they a dynasty?? No. We seen what Drake looked like with the lights at their brightest….this feels like the Ravens last title. They’re weren’t the “best” team that yr, they just caught fire when they needed to

  5. It's funny how much ESPN was all on the Bears sack last season at the midway point of the campaign, just to be outside of the top 10???!!! We'll keep this receipt ALL off-season.

  6. Bears are NOT super bowl contenders. We overachieved last year. Our defense is still shaky amd so far nothing has been done to fix that. Top ten? Maybe at best. Super bowl contenders? No way. We still haven't consistently beat a healthy Green Bay and dont forget we didnt best Detroit at all last season. Calm down Bears fans.
