thank you for a better view of this jazz tanking chatter. I don't think this is no where near the taking that mos are talking abou vs a really smart move to spend 3/4 of games working on getting the core peices famiar and ready to play next year together. and then using that precuios time in a game that can't be repicated in training (4th quarter/clutch time) to the people on he cort who will need it the most next year. and they have been playing more of the young guys in the 4th quarter way before this trade, they just had a lot more and needed to play LM to give them a chance and Key to keep him developing he's been good but he could still use some of that time. he'd doing better with the pressure but to be honest, he can still improve 🙂 so
so thank you on not folloing the common aspect just for the clicks and revenu 🙂
also next year when you see this group togethr your goig to be walking back alot of this> having the versatility of bigs like his will give Coach hardy a huge canvas for his creativity. LM may not be the typical sf but he's mobile enough, long enogh with a good set of backup bigs to cause concerns. Watch the pairing score when they are playing together. hen if the do get a smaller team on the court, that's giving them struggles. They have a decent lineup and full 48 min at 2 spots. To keep this more of a smaller lineup with LM/jjj rotatigng pf, JJJKessler at the center, more traditional sf/sg and pg it just gives them so much diversity. OKC may have to go back to their substitution games they did with the Nuggets
the jazz need to land in the AJ Dabynsta draft slot just so they can run out a realistic lineup in which either he or Ace Bailey are the smallest player 😂
F- trade deadline grade for waiving Chris Boucher…..
Just wondering why Markksman playing the 3 seems so weird to people. He was playing the 3 when he began to revitalize his career with the Cavs beside Mobley and Allen as the front court, and when he had his breakout season with the Jazz beside Olynyc and Kessler. He was intended to play the 3 last year with Jon Collins as the starting 4. He started as the 3 this year with lineups that had either Hendrix or Philp as the 4. The Jazz have always thought of him as their starting small forward and they’ve used him the best out of anyone.
Ngl i thought yall was gonna talk about how it's obvious Utah is trying to tank by not playing Markkanen and JJJ in the 4th quarter.
It's frustrating knowing that Utah isn't a bad team anymore, but a mid team now and they're still trying to tank before even the Allstar break
