  1. On the one hand, no Jordan Love, and I love seeing this.

On the other hand…First Take lol

  2. At this point I’d have to see Jayden Daniels stay upright for a full season again before I put him this high.

  3. I’ve never disagreed with a single first take list, so this seems absolutely accurate and undeniable.

  4. When you have the opportunity to take a running qb coming off leg and arm injuries with essentially one season under his belt and now having to learn a brand new offense, you simply have to place them as the second best qb in the conference

  5. This honestly isn’t a bad take, other than I might add Goff or Purdy in the mix.

If we’re going purely off last season my top 5 NFC is Stafford, Purdy, Goff, Williams, and Darnold.

If we’re looking at the past two seasons, I think Williams loses his seat, but Daniel’s isn’t in there for either.

Hurts regressed massively and I’m surprised we didn’t get told he had an injury at some point. Daniel’s isn’t bad, but he wasn’t great last season either.

Really Stafford/Darnold are the only two that put up solid back to back years. Goff to me is a hall of very good QB and will be an annual fringe top 5 no matter the season.

  6. The Jayden Daniels shit is so fucking ridiculous. Might as well put rg3 in the hall with the shit we have been saying about this guy’s one season.

  7. Bruh Jayden Daniel’s being on this list instead of Goff, Baker or Jordan Love is fucking ridiculous.

  8. I feel bad for Jayden honestly. I have a terrible feeling he’s always going to be hurt.

  9. Pretty crazy considering Canty spent all preseason and the first 5 weeks of the season leading the smear campaign against Williams.

  10. Jalen Hurts anywhere near the top 5 is wild. He is so mid, but propped up by an elite surrounding cast.

  11. Daniels and Hurts over options like Goff, Love (yes, him) Purdy and Allen?? I get it, Hurts has a superbowl and superbowl mvp, but you’d never know it watching this past season.

  12. Hurts is overrated. Dudes being carried by a talent heavy team, and he started to get exposed this year after teams sold out to stop Saquan

  13. entire list loses its credibility when Jayden Daniels is still listed #2 at this point. Maybe he gets back up there, but being injured most of the season last year, you need to drop him a few spots.

  14. there is no scenario where I’d take jayden daniels over caleb. and even though hurts has a superbowl mvp, I’d still prefer caleb over him.

  15. Am I a total homer yes, but I’d take Caleb over any of them at this point. I get Stafford at number 1, but the dude has one year left. Caleb has a huge upside and (hopefully) more years ahead of him than anyone else on this list.

Also, Jayden at # 2 is craziness.
