How Cam plays 30 minutes as a starter and only puts up 5 shots? He went 4/5, so it’s not like he was cold—the efficiency was literally right there. Meanwhile, other shooters are out here chucking 10+ shots. It makes zero sense. I checked the highlights and everything looked normal. Did anyone watch the full broadcast — Is Cam just not clicking with the system yet, or are they icing him out of the plays?

  1. How many games did he play before getting hurt? Pretty sure he’s still incredibly new to our system and hasn’t had much playing time with our guys. He *just* got back from injury.

  2. I’d say 4/5 is pretty good. We don’t need the guy to score 25 ppg. We got guys around that can score. Cam’s value on this team is in his defense and size. 3 steals on 80% shooting and 66% from 3? I’ll take that any day.

  3. Cam looked great yesterday.

There was a play where Joker was leading a semi break and we had Cam and Tim Hardaway on the same side spaced up for three and I thought this is going to be a nightmare for teams to guard.

Joker passed to Cam who had a good shoot, but as the defense came to him he passed to Tim for a wide open corner three.

Bruce gets offensive rebounds, cuts and wide open threes because he is the guy the double off.

  4. If you just watch his shots cam’s an insanely talented shooter, he can make them off movement, from like 2-3 ft beyond the 3 pt line and off the dribble. Obviously it doesn’t make sense to force feed him but he should average 7-8 3pas per game. With floor spacing from him, Murray (who’s like a top 3 shooter in the league this year) and Gordon around Jokic this is actually arguably the best offensive team the nuggets have ever had when healthy… but they should tell cam to let it rip more and maybe run some plays for him.

  5. Last night Cam was in foul trouble in the 3rd that’s why he sat the rest of the quarter. Besides that it looked to me like his main focus was defense on harden or Mitchell. Cam and Strawther were all over those guys on D. Also Strawther took over a lot of the scoring load last night.

  6. They are taking it slow with him which is awesome honestly. We don’t want yet another injury.

  7. Cam doesn’t pull the trigger as easilt as thj does, he seems to get nervous and look to pass.

  8. Cam still looks uncomfortable taking looks away from other people but is still growing into it, he’s looked much more trigger happy since coming back from his injury, which is a good thing. It takes awhile to learn when you’re open this team wants you to shoot because in all honesty if you’ve ever played basketball there are a lot of losers who get mad at people shooting wide ass open shots.

  9. His usage is being taken by THJ, Strawther and Bruce. When we get fully healthy i am very concerned about this team because THJ won’t be happy going back to 8 shots, Bruce won’t be happy going to 15 minutes and 4 shots and PWAT won’t be happy going to 8/9 shots. It is all fun and games now that everyone is injured but everyone is going to have a decreased role when we have all 9/10 guys and not all of them are going to react well to this change. It isn’t as easy as just slotting PWAT in because he is going to want the ball and that just isn’t the best option.
