  1. I think in general, we are taking our time with injuries this year. I do think he knows it’s important to get him on the floor with some players who will be in the rotation next year. When this happens, we should lose even more games for a bit. Lots of experiments going to happen.

  2. If the league wants to give the Pacers any guff about sitting players, all the staff has to do is point to the entirety of their season as justification for an abundance of caution.

  3. even after his ankle heals, are we sure he doesn’t deserve more time with his newborn? I’m fine with him taking like, just an abritrary number here, 7 months off

  4. Can never be too cautious with an ankle injury. Probably best to sit out until October just to be sure

  5. While I’m not *technically* a ‘doctor’, my research concludes he needs *at least* 25 games to recover

  6. Seems I’m in the minority, but I’d like to see Nemby/Siakam/Nesmith/Zu together for ~20mpg, at least for like 10 games

Obviously tank, but also experiment while you tank

  7. We should also probably sit Pascal after the all-star break too while we’re at it. His ankles are probably fine but you can never be too sure with ankles.
