  1. Kaprisov, Boldi, Quinn Hughes, Gustofson, Faber….. What team is has more elite players than this? Who can't they beat in the playoffs? Tampa? Colorado?

  2. Stramel is the center they've been looking to get for years. He's 6'3'', 215 lbs. This year at MSU he won 52% of faceoffs and is playing above a point-per-game pace. As you mentioned, they have limited trade pieces. Trocheck would immediately be their best center, but if this is the last trade they make, why waste it on an aging vet? If they can only make one more big trade, then find a bigger fish in the sea.

  3. Stramel is also Guerin's guy. Guerin chose him over Perrault and got a lot of criticism for it. Especially after seeing how much Stramel has developed at MSU I don't see Guerin giving up on him so easily unless if someone gave him an offer he couldn't turn down.
