Jordan Kyrou and Robert Thomas HEADLINE Buffalo Sabres trade deadline targets

The Buffalo Sabres are going to be a buyer at the trade deadline for the first time in over a decade and there are A LOT of good options for them both at forward and defenseman. The biggest ideas being Jordan Kyrou and Robert Thomas of the St. Louis Blues, two very good top liners. Thomas would give the Sabres another top-center, while Kyrou would be the right speedy, scoring winger for the group.

On the blueline, Blues’ veteran Justin Faulk is an intriguing idea, but third pair options like Logan Stanley of the Jets, and old friend Tyler Myers could be better fits. The Sabres are reportedly looking for big and physical to add to their blueline, and both guys would give them that, at a cheap cost.

Plus, Minnesota’s Jesper Wallstedt is the one goalie idea worth talking about for the Sabres, and Sneaky Joe is not a fan of the concept.

  6. By your own logic, picking up Stamkos would ensure Tuch would be gone. For an advanced aging Stamkos? Maybe 5 years ago. It'a a worse idea now than the ridiculous Tuch for Panarin swap. Stamkos is truly on borrowed time. Not worth losing Tuch. Thomas would be more palatable if we have to lose Tuch.

  8. They have lost two of three so they can not be thinking of giving a guy an eight figure a year contract. I don't care if he was from West Seneca. And, Plandemic.

  10. Greenway, LTIR him he's useless. Power for Kyrou, money in money out and enough money for Tuch. Power just stands there and watches teams score against us, no big loss. We still need another D man or 2 we have players to move, Quinn, Rosen. We should have the players and picks to get Zac Whitecloud from the Flames and a maybe Logan Stanley from the Jets.

  16. I dont think the problem with the PP is a lack of shooters. We need a distributor and playmaker. Thomas would be better than Stamkos for the pp.
