  1. 8 games! In two seasons. 8!
And this is the guy that they put all their faith. And you supported it. Sad that we have to have a high end/expensive back up because the chances of this gentle boy getting hurt are so high. What a waste of a first round pick and what a waste of all the talent we spent millions on. But keep riding hard for Ponder 2.0

  2. Drafting a QB that for his entire college career, that knew what the defensive play will be against him every play because of Jim Harbough having the biggest cheating scandal in college football. At U of M, all the coaches and players knew opposing team play signs as called due to Harbough paying for an elaborate sign stealing system, Netflix made a Documentary about it. Harbough for years never beat OSU , never won a Big Ten Title and was losing 2 out of 3 to MSU until he hired Conner Stallions and his crew. The idiocy is the GM, ownership drafting JJ, average talented at best and skipping all the red flags and then wondering then why he cannot go through his progressions. That is why the great 'Michigan' QB is ranked 851st out of 852 QB's since year 2000.

  3. Patrick, your assertion that “KC going 10-7, and loosing a playoff game”, isn’t a successful season, is just a ridiculous statement, because you are assuming that a deep playoff run culminating in a NFC/SB appearance is the only measure of success, and since you think every QB but Burrow would come in as a backup to JJM, then you are believing that JJM, will be able to improve from a historically horrendous rookie QB, jumping past being a barely moderately competent QB against poor defenses which is how he played in the last 1/3 of the season, to a competent top 10 QB capable of winning playoff games? Delusional! There is a reason why the Vikings were rated #23, and that is because of JJM! Patrick, do a little research! Despite Kyler being only 5’10” and having immaturity issues resulting in a clause being put into his contract requiring him to study football rather than playing video games which you refuse to acknowledge, the reality is that KM is 16-25 in his last four seasons, and Aaron Rodgers is 24-27 in his last four seasons! AR is a FA so it would cost NO draft picks and only 5 million which works because they have NO cap space. Then JJM can develop or NOT from the bench, and the team can give up the house to draft another top rookie QB in 2027!

  4. Pat, I love the show, however, I am about ready to UNSUBSCIBE. Our starting CENTER and SAFETY are currently NOT on the roster, who in your opinion will be starting at those positions. Then and ONLY then can we address the BACK UP QB. JJ should be the starter in 2026. If he does not pan out, we hit the reset button in 2027.

  5. Kirk no way in hell. He has milked enough money out of here. JJ is still a punk kid. I think he is still going to figure it out. Quick routes K O C. Be patient and get a center that’s worth a shit

  6. They can’t afford to give up draft capital for mediocre qb veterans and it’s too early to give up on JJ. Sign someone off the street and see what you have in JJ. 2027 draft is loaded.

  7. See if Troy Aikman or Steve Young can come help out for 100 million. That’ll fix it, lol. Or they could do it the right way and beef up the o-line, d-line, and LBs. get a good running back or two and take the focus off taking the QB’s head off. It’s really not that hard…

  8. Kirk Cousins makes the most sense for the Vikings in 2026. Cousins knows the System, he can step right in and he gives McCarthy a season to sit and learn. I also think the Vikings should Draft a QB in the 2026 Draft. Not1st or 2nd Round, but maybe 3rd round. In the Mocks I have done, CARSON BECK is there for the Vikings at 3rd. The position is important enough to spend a 3rd on a QB.

  9. The injurys of your quaterback is also a reflection on your O Line ! If the opposing tean can't reach your quaterback , he will not get injured as much .

  10. Well, how bad koc is, and if we want to keep his job not going to anyone, we can get my guess will be someone like Gino Smith or jj McCarthy and we really want a train wreck like get Anthony Richardson then we could have 3 back up qb and not a one can read a defense
