Amazing watch for birds fans. Generational hate watch for the rest of the world outside of KC.
On the one hand I’m a little surprised just because it seems like every year they find a way to make it the most-watched ever for PR reasons.
On the other hand, last year being the combo of big-market Philly vs Chiefs 3-peat attempt makes sense against small-market Seattle and a largely uninteresting Pats team.

But we’re the defending Champs for the Most Watched SB in history for at least one more year!
Who would’ve thought the 2 most watched SBs in history involved both KC and NE getting destroyed by Bird Teams who were on their respective revenge tours.

I mean, everybody wanted to watch the Chiefs lose.
After watching the Super Bowl this year, I thought how lucky we were to have such a great game for our first title. If we had a game like this last Sunday, it would obviously still be celebrated, but yuck that game was terrible.
Tbf… Swifties keep the crown.
Unpopular opinion, but I’m not the biggest fan of west coast games especially when the game starts while it’s still broad daylight out, it doesn’t have the same “feel” as past games, maybe I’ve just been used to the indoor/dome games in recent years.

Surprised we still reign, but yeah the Taylor Swift angle kinda ticked the numbers imo for the patriots against us.
Many people wanted to see the Chiefs lose. Many more wanted to see the NFL’s first ever real three-peat attempt. I’m just glad it was us who shut it down.

That wasn’t a Super Bowl that was a pre game ….not gonna lie I’m disappointed in the patriots. I thought they were better than that.
Makes sense considering the combination of hate watching for those who wanted the Chiefs to lose and those who tuned in for the potential of history with a threepeat. This year didn’t really have that kind of draw

Almost everyone knew that NE lucked into the SB and was gonna get smacked by either Seattle or LA. We only had the game on in the background and used it as an excuse to see family/eat food.
