Now I like this lineup. This is a lineup i can trust.

If only we had a picture of JV in a Tigers uniform.
If only they had photoshop technology to put Verlander in a Tigers uniform. I know it’s certainly not something they would have hundreds of stick photos of.
Tigers now almost at luxury tax, which is a lot more than anyone else could have predicted.
But doesn’t this imply Olson’s injury is more serious and might not be ready opening day?
The rotation is deep, I like it
Skubal, Valdez, Flarhety, Mize, Verlander 5 innings/Melton close. I could see Montero in a long relief role. I think the club is not expecting anything from Olson or Jobe until 2nd half. So really they are great insurance pieces if we lose an arm in the rotation.
Bats, veterans and kids coming up, wake up. This could be our year.
Olsen Jobe and melton are all great but are either injured or relatively unproven. Injuries inevitably happen but having JV and Mize locked in as the 4th/5th guys with some serious depth makes this rotation and team so much deadlier.
No need to push Olsen or Jobe to be back before their healthy and Melton can be a spot start or late inning guy, a role he thrived in last year.
So excited for this season, let’s ride!
Honestly, this is pretty solid
Love having Keider as our 8th rotation option (not counting Jobe, since he’s injured).
Please get a bat

And JV’s chase for all the orange uniforms takes a turn

I’m happy about it, looked like he had some left in the tank last season. In 2006 Kenny Rogers was the old dude that brought the rotation together maybe in 2026 it’s JV’s turn to be said old dude.
Either Olson is hurt far worse than we have assumed or AJ is planning to use a 6 man rotation, can’t see JV if his ERA is under 5 being sent to the bullpen and no way straight out of spring training.
Edit: I hate being right about Olson, poor guy can’t catch a break
