  1. so let me get this straight… someone wants, the canucks to get slower? are we ever going to get out of our own zone?
no matter how talented this team gets… if it takes them forever to move through the middle… I just don't think that is going to work.

  2. This might be Canucks' final reclamation project for now. While Canucks are tanking, we will still need to get someone to play with EP40. We cannot just let EP40 rot in the basement. And no, we are not going to go out and sign a dude for $10m+ for that. That's why we will be looking at undervalued contracts like Lafreniere. NYR will probably need to retain salary. But Canuck would be willing to give Lafreniere a chance and pair him with EP40. If it works out, great. If not, no worries we are tanking anyways and for now don't need the cap space. Having less pressure to win now will be good for Lafreniere to rebuild his confidence. The skills are still there.

The NYR CCs on YouTube are saying "Just get a 3rd or 4th round pick and get rid of his contact! Or retain salary and get a better pick. Just get rid of him! We are done."
