It’s about 6 years in the ride for me. What about y’all?

  1. Around 3.5. I’m from Europe, so I never had another team. But since I started watching, it has just gotten worse every year.

  2. Born into Bengals fandom but started actually paying attention after the 1999 season Super Bowl with Rams / Titans. That was the first game I fully remember being interested in. So I guess 26 years.

  3. I was at the Freezer Bowl in 1981. I was 9. I used the money I had made in a Wendy’s “Wacky Wall Walker” commercial to buy tickets for me and my dad.

My biggest memory is that our entire row had joined all of our blankets together into one giant mega blanket. Layers upon layers to conserve as much heat as possible. And when good plays happened, people were careful to celebrate without letting heat out.

It was one of those moments for me as a kid. All of us, working/surviving together, cheering the same team… Everyone just “got along” to make it work. There was an older blonde lady next to me that was very motherly and talked with me a lot. People shared their extra Hot Hands. The world felt safe and kind.

  4. I started watching with my dad in ’80 or so.

I think people who have endured through the 90’s deserve our own flair.
