>With both of those names presented to you, what would you say the likelihood that both could be moved either at the deadline or this off season?
>Yeah, as far as anything up until this trade deadline, I mean, I don’t see any team really putting in the commitment that it would take to get Robert Thomas. So I think that’s something that could be certainly revisited in the summer on his future. I don’t anticipate any team coming up with the asking price of what St. Louis wants.
>Kyrou’s been out there for the last little while. He’s got trade protection as we know it. But I also believe that he’s open to looking at different scenarios on trying to win the Stanley Cup.
>So we’ll just have to wait and see where this thing plays out. But these guys have got tremendous strength right now with trade protection, all of these guys. And we just saw with Panarin a lot of disappointed New York Ranger fans guys over the return on Panarin just being one of a fairly decent prospect in Greentree.”
It was reported the Blues are looking for the equivalent of three top 15 picks for Thomas. I’ve not seen an asking price reported for Kyrou.
If something like Quinn + a first gets it done I would certainly be interested, but this would require some navigating of the salary cap and almost certainly removes any possibility of extending Tuch.
A 1st, Quinn, and Ellis. Just say yes St. Louis!
Either Thomas or Kyrou brings enough to change much for the Sabres. Let along shipping out a young player or high draft picks.
Sabres benefit most of the get a big nasty RHD and a top 6 center. Other than that don’t change a thing.

We’re trying to win a Stanley Cup.
