Definitely matches the eye test. Playground P/ISO P has a deep bag
Feels like last year was the first time we could’ve seen him meaningfully contribute in the playoffs (he did in game 3 Knicks), but this year his role is way bigger and he’s genuinely a way better scorer inside the paint. Excited to see what comes in April!
The kid isn’t very athletic. He’s not unbelievably quick. He’s not even as tall as he’s listed, which isn’t very tall anyway.
When you get a player like that, you have to learn a million different ways to score. 2 feet, 1 foot, catch and shoot, off the dribble, etc. When you get someone who excels at that, they become impossible to guard, especially with his conditioning.
I had to chase this little fucker around in high school and believe me when I say defending him was more akin to a damn track meet than it was traditional half court defense. So fun to watch but so aggravating to try and stay in front of.
Edit: Yall acting like this is a diss on the guy. I’ve been a fan of his as long as I’ve known him. This is talking up his ability as a player. Not down
Goddamn that middy is money
I want him to be able to put the team on his back when it matters
This isn’t gonna be a popular opinion but if we get into a playoff game that goes down to the wire, I’d like Pritch to be the one with the ball in his hands
Been telling folks he is the future. He gets more love from other teams fanbases *sometimes* and its a damn shame. He’ll be elite in a year or two!
I mean volume *definitely* matters here. I don’t think he could suddenly do Shai’s volume of ISO and keep remotely this level of efficiency. It is still impressive, though.
Is this cherry picked, or is it actually super impressive?
Holy shit, making bodying 250 pound Jalen Duren look easy in that second to last clip. He’s got that shoulder push in the paint so dialed in
PRITCH BETTER HAVE MY MONEY
