  1. It kinda shocks me that Jets fans are so concerned about what kind of base front we're running. At the highest amount, we'll be in a base formation 30% percent of the time unless the league suddenly decides they're running nothing but 22 or 13 personal the majority of the time. This is the modern era, we're probably gonna have 5 DBs on the field a majority of the time. Fans need to stop caring about the formation and start caring about the coaching and the actual talent of the player. Switching from a 4-3 to a 3-4 – if it even happens – doesn't have the same impact in 2026 that it did in 2006.

  2. take the 2 best wrs with the 1st 2 picks. stack the offense. use all of free agency and the rest of the draft to get defense. Haven't had an offense in Jets history except with decker and marshall. draft offense 1st!!!

  3. My guy I desperately want this offseason is Will Levis. I feel like he makes so much sense for us. He’s in the last year of his rookie deal so he shouldn’t be too expensive to trade for, probably only a single 4-5th rounder. Dude has flashed a bunch when he’s played, even though he was surrounded by an absolutely terrible supporting cast in Tennessee. He’s big, he’s tough, he has an absolute cannon, and he’s not half bad at running. But ultimately I see him like a younger jameis. Someone willing to just chuck the ball up and if he doesn’t work out then the 5th rounder you spent trading for him certainly wouldn’t keep you from drafting a 1st round qb in 2027

  4. What's being overlooked is that Brian Duker has six seasons total working under 3-4 coaches, Wink Martindale and Anthony Weaver. Duker worked alongside Jesse Minter and Mike MacDonald

  5. Jets could have easily gotten to this destination of adding Musgrave as the veteran QB coach and Seth Ryan as pass game coordinator to support Tanner Engstrand. So the key to all of this is Reich. Does his experience lift the offense's floor?

  6. Jets will definitely be multiple on defense. Duker has extensive experience working under 3-4 coaches in Jim O'Neil, Wink Martindale and Anthony Weaver. Also worked with Dom Capers, Mike MacDonald and Jesse Minter.

  7. The Dunbar hire and likelihood of more odd front bases puts the Jets on the radar for nose tackle types in free agency and the draft. DJ Reader, Kayden McDonald, Caleb Banks, Lee Hunter etc

  8. Seth Ryan is essentially assuming the role Tanner Engstrand would've had if he stayed under Frank Reich. Boomer Esiason says that Reich loves Ben Johnson's system. So Ryan and Heiden on staff are enticing to him.

  9. It's entirely possible that Mike LaFleur clears out that Cards QB room for Malik Willis and Jimmy Garrapolo. The latter comes over from the Rams to help playbook install. Willis moves from one LaFleur to the other.

  10. Re sign Breece and Simpson, Sign Tyler Lindenbaum and Jujuan Jennings, Trade for Jacoby Brisset, Draft Arvell Reese and Kayden McDonald in the first rd,best available DT and DE in the 2nd rd,sign Devin Lloyd,Kam Curl, Jamal Dean and Jaen Watson.

  11. I think we way more talented than Boston. We going to the playoffs. We just need a QB. Are Oline is way better than what Boston got over there…
