I could easily use this as an opportunity to yet again express how shitty of a coach Callahan was during his time in Tennessee but, I have to admit that this move makes sense for him. His bread and butter was his work with QBs. Cutting out every other task and limiting himself to just QB work is probably the best move he could’ve made right now. That said, if I’m a Giants fan, the offensive trio of Matt Nagy, Greg Roman, and Brian Callahan is not one I’d be thrilled about on paper.

They need someone to yell “what the fuck are you doing” at their new QB’s.
Things didn’t work out for us. He was very raw, he hadn’t called plays before, and he seemed in over his head. But I know he worked hard and tried his best to make this team better. I wish him luck in his new role, and I hope he can learn and grow with the Giants. Maybe he’ll learn enough from a great coach to warrant another head coaching opportunity down the line.
Nice enough guy, hope he does well, im glad those that hired him to be a head coach while also calling the offense after NEVER HAVING CALLED AN OFFRNSE IN HIS COACHING CAREER are no longer making decisions.

Callahan was in over his head as a HC here but some of you guys act like he knows absolutely nothing about football. He seems like a good guy and I’m rooting for him, I think he’ll be just fine
Honestly a good reset for him. He is now surrounded around a lot more experienced coaches that could help him develop. hope it works out for him

He was in over his head being an HC maybe a lower responsibility would be better suited
We had a nepo baby position coach that replaced a two time NFL coach of the year at HC.

Joe burrow was already developed when he got to the league. Cally did NOTHING but hinder cams growth over the first half of the season. He is dogwater and Jaxson Dart will look like a scrub next year.
