Trying to keep it high level and make sure we all understand no win will ever count

  1. The whole schedule thing perplexes me. How often exactly is the team with the easiest schedule win % wise going to the Super Bowl? If it’s so easy, why isn’t it happening every year?

Did some quick research, and only 4 Super Bowl champion teams have faced a winning % in the regular season under .400.

  2. And this isn’t even being dramatic. It’s exactly how it’ll go. “HOW DID THEY LUCK IN TO TWO SUPER BOWL APPEARANCES STRAIGHT OFF THESE SCHEDULES?!?”

  3. One thing no one is really talking about is how many games the Patriots have against teams with new head coaches. That’s an advantage for the Patriots.

  4. Also only 3 games are different based on where you finish the prior season. The bills play the same afc and NFC division and the same jets and dolphins

  5. Just remember: anyone playing the Pats in 2025 also had an “easy schedule”. How’d that work out for the Bills?

  6. First off, I can’t believe that Denver is actually having a road game (shout out to Fred Kirsch). Second, if we beat the Steelers, “New HC, doesn’t count”

  7. I know you’re a Pats fan so you’re biased, and I agree with you that this view of the schedule next year while it is satire, is also somewhat accurate in terms of how fans/media will spin it. However, doesn’t a small part of what happened in the Super Bowl kind of bring some credence to the schedule talk? I’m not talking about regular season even, cause you all beat my team (Ravens) in a must win game for us. I’m speaking in the playoffs. Like things broke the best way possible for you guys.

You avoided Josh Allen and the Bills, and then played the best team left in Denver but they had a backup QB who ended up being the main factor in them losing the game. The Chargers were hurt on their O line but weren’t a threat anyways, the Texans to me was a legit win even though their best WR was out and CJ stroud shit the bed. I credit the defense for that.

But the offense looked like shit all 3 playoff games leading into the Super Bowl objectively, some part of you has to feel like once you met a complete team in the Seahawks, you guys were outmatched. This isn’t even a dig. Making it as far as you all did this early in the “rebuild” is crazy. I’m just saying, next year will kinda determine how much the schedule plays a factor.

  8. This schedule doesn’t even scare me. Denver, Seattle, maybe JAX and @Buffalo are the only games I would dred going into the game.

KC is the torch handoff game.

  9. a weak schedule is a blessing, and any fan base acting like they wouldn’t take advantage of it is lying to themselves. You play the team in front of you. Many are just fearful the evil empire might be back and are grasping for any reason to discredit them.

  10. What do you people not understand? We had the easiest schedule this century. And the super bowl and playoffs clearly showed that we overrated drake maye and the offense because we had the EASIEST SCHEDULE THIS CENTURY. If the same thing happened to another team we would call it like it is and say that they were over rated.

  11. Jokes aside, that’s a BRUTAL schedule. LETS FUCKING GOOOO! Going to be some good ass games next season.

  12. When you look at all the excuses and then just get to “Jets, doesnt count” you laugh a little

  13. Lmao the “Jets, doesn’t count” took me out. It’s a very fair statement though. We might as well just not play next season because we won’t get any credit regardless 😂
