[NBA Recap] Cleveland Cavaliers post trade deadline salary cap

My biggest takeaway from this is I doubt we see Strus after this season. With the emergence of Tyson and Keon likely being cheaper, I imagine Strus will get traded once we’re officially under the apron for a pick or 2.
Strus gone đź‘€
This is really well done. Who made this?
Best way of explaining all the NBA money stuff I’ve seen.
Too bad im looking fwd to them to sign haywood highsmith
thank god hunter is no longer here
I’ve never understood all this salary cap vs second apron stuff but this graphic makes it super intuitive
Surprised they didn’t just move Strus at the deadline
I think long term, they’re expecting (hoping), to replace Hardens contract with a Tyson max. Kind of seems like they chose Tyson over Garland long term, and it brings Harden in for the next 2/3 seasons. If Tyson doesn’t really turn into a true max player, then Harden is retired, and you have a lot of flexibility. I really don’t think Garlands contract is going to age well.
This is slightly incorrect. We got $110,000 for Ball. You can’t trade for nothing.
