I think Bain would be a better option. Mock drafts don’t mean squat. Defense needs help. Jones and karlaftis can’t do everything. We need an edge rusher before a RB in my opinion.

The pass rush in in dire need. Giants found a rb in round 4. We can get a rb easy. But we need a pass rush.
Jeremiah Love will work ONLY if the Chiefs are building the team around Love. Unfortunately, they will be running Andy's offense and NOT EB's offense. Andy is a pass offense coach. We have seen that problem in our 2025 season where he refused to run the ball. Therefore, drafting Jeremiah Love will not work for the Chiefs. The players in the trenches are 50 times more important than the running backs and wide receivers. We MUST draft a defensive front 7 player with the #9 pick.

I don't see The Chiefs passing on Bain for Love simply because of the value at the position is so much greater there's a few edge rushers that you just can't pass on Rubin Bain even over J Love it would cost way more to get a Premier, premium edge and free agencies than it would to get a top-tier running back now you're not gonna lose with either pick. It's just a matter of getting a generational player. Jeremy Love is said to be just that, but Ruben Bain is supposed to be one of the best edge rushers and he is definitely got one hell of a motor on them, but I wouldn't be upset with either pick. Honestly there's a lot of great players in this draft and being as high as we are says that we have more than one hole that needs to be filled in a bad way sowe're gonna need to really do some serious rebuilding this year and getting all the right pieces through free agency and as much in the draft as possible we are in a good position to really clean house in the draft this year and we definitely need it

Love is talented, but we have needs bigger than a first Rd RB. We need DL and DE and you can get a good RB in the 3rd with a guy like Singleton.
This is a great year to get a rb in the 3rd round. Which has been pretty good to the chiefs with Charles and Hunt.
