What grade would you give your teams head coaching hire this offseason? 🤔
I’m sorry but McCarthy should be a C grade at best
While I don't necessarily love the Brady hire, it feels like the type of thing that people would say "how could you let him leave" if he took another job and had success there. Everyone talks about keeping people in the building, then hates when teams actually do it.
The greatest thing on Kubiak and Mendoza is the cultural change they will bring to the Raiders Org. This is needed to succeed
Considering that every season you're one of the first calling for coaches to be fired midseason, I find it darkly humorous for you to be calling for patience for the new hires!

As a Bills fan I despised how the firing of McDermott was handled. I found it pretty disrespectful for one of the greatest coaches in franchise history and the league over the past few years. That being said, I think Joe Brady running the offense and Jim Leonhard running the defense will be a real nice combo. Promoting Joe Brady will help keep the culture McDermott set as well
From what the bears did to the packers defense of coordinator i'm very surprised he got a head coaching job.
What I’m looking for in this McCarthy hire is a sort of pit stop, get a young good qb in the next 2 years (preferably in the 2027 draft cause it looks loaded) and then help develop the so when the next man steps up the will be a team like the Titans are right now expect with a better O line cause the Steelers have a great looking young line imo.. also lived in Pitt for a few months 😂 didn’t know that what brought you to those parts
Something you didn't mention regarding the Ravens: another reason to be optimistic about the Ravens' offense next season was a coaching change that (understandably) went under the radar in the NFL news cycle, but might be the favourite hiring ampngst Ravens fans and analysts: that of OL coach Dwayne Ledford coming from Atlanta. Yeah, poor Zach Orr was a disaster at DC (really feel for him, and awesome guy, he was just not ready yet) – but so was the O-line, under coach Warhop. Ledford seems to be an orbital steal for my Ravens, and if he will be nearly as good as he is believed/hoped to be, that's gonna be a HUGE boost for the Ravens O.
John Harbaugh will be fired in 2 years and Declan Doyle will replace him.
