1. Derrick Carr would be a good QB for two years and a decent mentor to the new QB we will draft in 2027 draft. Let the new QB sit for a year.

4. Best options IMO are Brisset and Cousins. I would add 2 veterans and throw a flyer on a mid late round QB. 27 is where we take a shot at a top QB. With 3 first rounders next year we can move up anywhere we want on that draft board

6. We just watched Phillip Rivers at 45 come out and play and he was retired for 5 years. Carr is smart, knows defenses, would have familiarity with the staff so its not brand new. He's a leader and vet for a young QB, and we have a way better oline and weapons than the Saints had. Theres no real value for him on the trading market so at most the value is a 5th rounder (more likely a 6th). Its not that much worst than Brissett, Marietta, Garrapolo. Only Cousins or Kyler (his youth and prayer) are better options

13. Very confused on fans wanting derek carr.. the guy tried his absolute best to send chris olave to the hospital on multiple occasions with the throws he picked. He’ll get garret wilson killed.

14. The ONLY way I could see Carr being a decent bridge QB is cuz the Jets o-line has gotta be better than whatever the Saints had back then. Carr got beat up a lot, and I'd think that attributed to his hospital ball throws as well.

16. Not sure what guys are talking about. Theres no way Glenn is getting fired after year 2. Year 3,maybe. This team was bad and even it's stars had bad habits. Glenn and Moughay set the team up for success and like a jet fan, guys want them gone. When does the mobius stuff end. We need a player at every position on defense. I want a all D draft ,outside of a developmental QB.

19. trying to beat the clock on the 3 minutes so i forgot to mention i still see us bringing in a vet QB somehow someway. have Ty sit the whole year or half a year learning. Probably targeting McNeil-Warren and Hill Jr in 2nd round…and yeah maybe 2026 sucks and we go 3-14 fire our head coach and spend a crap load in 2027 FA, draft nothing but defense in 2027 at the top, bring in an established HC and our 2nd year QB makes strides and we are a very young and talented team (Ty, G5, Tate, Hall, etc)…much like the superbowl losers blueprint this past year.

    we haven't had a top 10 scoring offense since brett favre…would just be nice to switch things up and be losing 38-35 (sorry bengals fans) instead of having a great defense and losing 13-3.

21. I would venture to say that Musgrave will have quite an influence on who the Jets decide to select as QB1 and also who they draft. I'm good with that.
