The New England Patriots have one decision to make ahead of the 2026 NFL Season revolving around the coaching staff. Mike Vrabel has to decide on to make the defensive coordinator of the Patriots either Terrell Williams or Zak Kuhr. Williams missed the 2025 NFL Season while battling prostate cancer and has been fully cleared to return to work. Zak Kuhr took over in his absence as de facto DC and led the Pats to a top 5 defense in the NFL. Mike Vrabel has to choose to go with the man he hired or with the coach who led his defense to Super Bowl 60. “There’ll be a lot of things that we’ll have to work through there. We’ll have to work through — T’s healthy and been given a release to be back at work. So again, I’ll work through all those things here in the next couple days, weeks, however long those decisions take.”

Pats will be back in the Super Bowl
This was an incredible season. Who would have thought? I expected .500 at best and yeah they didn't have a tough schedule but regardless they were the best team in the AFC. The biggest letdown besides the Super Bowl loss was the poor game plan for the offense and the lack of being able to move the pocket and show some creativity. It was vanilla with few wrinkles. That is playing into a team like the Seahawks.

If the Pats dont hire Kurh as Defense Coordinator then some other team will come in and offer him a job. We need to keep him and see what else he can do next year and promote Williams. I think both of them add an enormous amount of value to the team

ALPER nobody should feel bad about what happened. We had a great season. They’re just a very, very tough team. I mean let’s face it. Our offensive line sucks. We have to sign that Green Bay guy the left tackle we have to. We got outbid everybody or craft can go himself and we got a draft with the last picking her first round a right tackle I would do that the edge rusher we can get that in a second and third round maybe trade Max Crosby for next year’s third and fourth

We had an unbelievable season with a crash landing. It’s all good now. Everybody and their mother will want to sign with us.
We will make a big ass come back let's go Patriots we have all we need This a big ass decision that Mike has to make because Zack got our defense on point my word I hope Mike pray before he makes his decision
T can be on the staff as a senior defensive ast because Kuhr will be a head coach candidate next season so T can stick around to be the DC in 2027
Why do I have a huge gut feeling they are going to mess it up and take Kuhr out.
I know Williams had cancer, and now is cancer free, thank GOD, but they need to do what's best for winning games.
Just keep both of them.
I think they need to look at Josh McDaniels and have a little talk with him the way his play calls been lately.
