Exactly. They’re a team ran by fucking idiots that have no plan or direction besides keeping the seats filled. Anyone that thinks this is gonna be an extended tank is kidding themselves. AK said at the trade deadline after the trades “this is not a rebuild”.
They will resign Simons or Sexton, then sign another mid free agent or 2 and chase the 10 seed again next year like always. If you think Reinsdorf is going to approve a multi-year tank and let ticket sales drop you need a reality check
